Raymond Clifford Teegarden, 75.

Known as Butch to family and friends. 

Born July 27, 1944 in Santa Barbara, California. 

Passed away on March 20, 2020 in Lafayette, Colorado .

Butch was born to Clifford Raymond Teegarden and Louise Lucille (Spaur) Teegarden of Boulder, Colorado. 

Butch had 3 brothers. The oldest was Joe Brehm of Scott City, Kansas. He is survived by his wife Jan Brehm and two daughters and nieces of Butch, Janelle and Jodene. Butch has 4 great nephews and 1 great niece. He also had 2 great-great nieces. 

Next is middle brother Cary K. Teegarden is Longmont, Colorado. The youngest brother Ronnie Teegarden proceeded the family in death from an accident when he was 12 years old. 

Butch is survived by his only daughter Megan Louise (Teegarden) Murphy and her husband Thomas Murphy of Rio Rancho, New Mexico along his his only grandson Samuel Teegarden. 

Butch served in the United States Navy from 1963 - 1967 with one year in the Navel Reserves upon a Honorable discharge. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal during his service. 

Butch has an infectious laugh, deep voice, and a mega watt smile. He loved all people and had a special heart for children and the elderly. Anywhere he went he could make a friend. He was extremely proud of his daughter Megan and his grandson Samuel. They were his life’s treasure and brought him much joy. He loved his family. He is a child of God and was blessed to be a Christian man. He will forever be remembered and loved. 

Family will gather for a private memorial at a later date.
