Richard Noel Munn

Richard Noel Munn, 53, of McGregor, Texas died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, in Waco, Teas.  Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 5, 1999, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Boulder, 6710 Arapahoe Road, Boulder, Colorado with the Rev. David Thorngate officiating.  Interment will be at Lyons Cemetery, Lyons, Colorado. Memorial Services were also held in McGregor March 2, 1999 at Harris Creek Baptist Church where Richard attended with Rev. Joe Loughlin officiating.  Services were under the direction of Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.

Mr. Munn was born Jan. 13, 1946, in Denver, CO, to John Raymond and Ida (Vinson) Munn.  He attended Fairview High School in Boulder, CO, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of ARts degree in Operational Management from the University of Arkansas.  He served his country in the Army and later in the Navy, where he received numerous decorations.  He was a Support Equipment Engineer at Lockheed-Martin.  In earlier years he also worked with his father at Ray Munn Concrete.

He and Donna Vickery were married May 23, 1964, in Boulder, CO, and had three children.  Richard and Jennie Wells were married Nov. 17, 1973 in Boulder.  Her was a emmber of the Seventh Day Baptit Church in Texarkana, Arkansas, and attended Harris Creek Bptist Church.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Munn of McGregor; his mother, Ida Brenton and her husband Walter of Limon, CO; his former wife, Donna Martin of Vinemont, Alabama, two sons, Troy Munn of Wakerfield, RI, and Jerrie Munn of Longmont, CO; a daughter, Rene Vasquez of Lyons, CO; a brother, William Munn of Boulder; a sister, Bette Jensen of Berthoud, CO; and five grandchildren.
