Jackie Lynn DeMore

July 2, 1946 - September 2, 2000

Jackie Lynn DeMore of San Jose, CA, died of cancer on Saturday, September 2, 2000, in Sanata Clara, CA.  She was 54.  She was born July 2, 1946, to Raymond G. and Mary E. (Welsh) DeMore.  Ms. DeMore was a program manager at Sun Microsystems in CA.  She cherished her cats, her home, her cabin and time with her countless friends.

Ms. DeMore is survived by her partner, Terry Awtrey; her parents, Ray and Mary DeMore; a sister Mallory Norway and her husband Kent Mitchell of Longmont; and niece and nephew Michele and Chad Norway.

A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, September 6, 2000, at St. Lawrence the Martyr in Santa Clara.  Friends who wish may still send contributions to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab, UT 84741.
