Kerry Trunce obituary

"Tex" (Age 74) Kerry F. "Tex" Trunce passed away February 10, 2019, at the Hospice Unit at the VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Tex was born December 19, 1944 in Midland, TX to Frank F. and Blanche C. Trunce. He grew up outside Boulder, CO, where he developed a love of fishing and hunting, and a deep appreciation of the outdoors. A joy of his retirement was testing his bench rifles in Montana each year. In his later years, he preferred to do his hunting with a camera. Tex retired from the US Air Force as a MSgt. after 22 years of service to his country. He was also a 26-year friend of Bill W. He was quiet, sincere, generous and a true friend of anyone in need. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We will all miss him. Tex was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother and older daughter Clella Ann Trunce Busby. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Olga, his daughter Ginger, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Tex's service will be held at Audubon Park United Methodist Church, 3908 N. Driscoll Blvd., Spokane, on February 14, 2019 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tex's name to the Spokane Humane Society, 6607 N. Havana St., Spokane, WA 99217.

IMMy fondest memory of Kerry is when he stood up for me when I was being bullied. I don't remember who it was but I will always treasure what Kerry did. I send my deepest sympathy to Olga and all the family.
